before RDI

Our ABA program was made up of me, My sister in law, my girlfriend, and two Moms from the church. This started in March of 2000. I had the school hire them all, and we were all trained in ABA. We tried to do it like the pros, but some of it made no sense. The stuff that made no sense I did not do. My one friend left after a year, and then sortly after that another had to leave because her brother was dieing. This is when The loovas institute asked me if I would be interested in the *professionals* coming in. I was like sure!!!! After three days, me and my remaining team knew what a big mistake this was! It was an awful year, as I demanded therapist after therapist be replaced. My team ( 3) and their team (2) were at odds. Supposedly, we were not doing the therapy correctly, and we were interacting with him way too much! Knowing how irritated I was, They replaced another therapist ( they kept getting worst) with a girl named Chrissy. She tells me that she begged not to go on the case cause I had a rep, LOL. Turns out, Chrissy and I hit it off, and so then I only had one awful therapist to get rid of! Make a long story short, by this time Jes started ABA with all professionals ( what was I thinking!) It was going ok, but me and the consultant were not seeing eye to eye on many things. Jesse was not talking, not progressing, and was just a very unhappy child. There was a shining star on Jesses team among all the duds ( that still remained). SO i decided, if I could talk the school district into hiring them, I could get rid of all the other people. This is making many years into a paragraph, but end result was the school agreed, and the girls got a nice raise and me as their boss.......and they have been with me ever since! I met Chrissy in 2002, and Gina in 2003.

I was so excited, I was in charge of their ABA program.......2 months later,(November 2004) a friend introduced me to RDI. That information turned my world upside down.
