Swimming in the winter

ok, so that is not something that you can do in Jersey.....but we can since we belong to Riverwinds....a community center with an indoor pool and slide, etc.

After church today.....we decided we have not been there since Spring!! Ouch! And we pay for it monthly.....so I packed everyone up and off we went.

Reading Light show

Dave took the kids to Reading PA for their huge light show display..... I was at a friends at a cookie swap...... Im very thankful for a hubby that lets me have friend time and takes all the kids. They get to view Dad as Mr Christmas with him taking them to all the light shows....and then they came home to lots of cookies!!

Interest in the piano

Noah has shown interest in the piano and has been teaching himself how to play ( with some guidance from Dave and starter books from Sonlight!!) One day he decided he wanted to play the theme from Office space lol Daves favorite show. I showed him all the books that he was not interested in last year on how to play the piano! He is all about the books now!!Gotta love it when that happens!

The trip up to Hershey PA

Noah sat with someone who he did not know since I sat with Grace and Chrissy sat with Jes..... He was talking to the guy...It was pretty funny!

Jesse was loving the ride and looking out the window and chatting away.... Grace of course got motion sickness lol..... Luckily a Mom on the bus had dramamine or whatever and before he went home I crushed it up in her drink. We drove home with no issues, which is good since we were in the bus a total of 3.5 hours since we went thru the light show!

Hershey Park- Chocolate world

We had a great time at Hershey Park this past Saturday!

Grace got sick on the way up.....so now I know that she gets motion sickness! But once we got there she was fine....It was COLD though and we only lasted about an hour outside. We ended up taking two chocolate tours ( So much fun) and hang around in Chocolate world ( can you think of a better place to hang out?)

We all learned about how chocolate is made, and of course ate lots of chocolate! I got a Chocolate milkshake after dinner but did not get to drink much of it. Grace drank some and then Jesse actually asked for some....this kid never drinks milkshakes........ I can only think that he really enjoyed all the info about chocolate that he felt personally connected to chocolate and wanted to try the shake. He loved it..... Needless to say I got none! :)

Sweet Lights

We left the Park at 6..and the bus took us thru sweet lights! The kids loved it!!! I was surprised that my cell took the pictures thru the window!

Thanksgiving 2008

This year was different....Dan had to perform in Marching band in the morning and Dave took the kids hiking while I made pies and Egg nog cake to take to Daves Brothers house, which is where we had thanksgiving dinner!
Noah ended up sleeping over. We then had another thanksgiving dinner on Sunday with just us.....ya know, we got a free turkey so why not!!

Last camping trip

It was cold but Dave was willing and I was game since that would mean I would be childless for more then 24 hours........ My goal was to get alot done on my list..... did not happen but did get at least half done!! Progress!!!

They were in some woods in New Jersey...not sure where! lol

They all said they had a great time, as did I by myself!!! lol

Its time for pumpkins

THe annual tradition of pumpkin picking with Dad! Dan was absent this year due to Marching band.....Dave is not taking that well!! lol

Marching Band

It was great watching Dan be part of Marching band. The theme this year was the seven Deadly sins! For 2 months they compete every single weekend.....schew....

Happy Birthday Grace!

My Baby turned 5! Usually when a child of mine turns 5 I either have an infant or am pregnant....... and so Im liking the fact that I am neither!!!!!!

Boy scout Camp

Noahs first Boy Scout camp! We did not talk to him all week.... But when we picked him up he was all smiles and said he had a great time.
